Council Consent
Most councils across Sydney have strict rules place to reduce the amount of trees being over pruned or removed across their LGA’s (Local Government Areas).
Trees in Sydney require consent from your local council to have works performed. There are exceptions to this which vary from council to council (Dead trees, noxious weeds, etc).

When planning to remove/prune a tree, it is important to determine the correct species as it may need council permission prior to works being undertaken.
